Privacy & Photo Consent

Little Legends Cards NZ needs photos and player details to create, proof, fulfil and support personalised card orders. We do not sell customer photos, and we do not use a child’s photo or finished personalised card publicly for marketing unless the child’s parent or legal guardian, or someone specifically authorised by them for that purpose, has clearly chosen Yes to the separate marketing permission below.

Using photos to create your order

When you provide a child’s photo or player information, you confirm that you are the child’s parent or legal guardian, or that you have their permission and authority to provide that information to Little Legends for the purpose of creating the requested card.

Photos and player details may be used as reasonably necessary to create the personalised card, prepare and send proofs, make requested revisions, produce and deliver the finished product, provide customer support, and keep appropriate business records. This order-production use is separate from public marketing permission.

Buying a card as a gift for someone else’s child

You may buy a Little Legends card as a gift for someone else’s child. Before you provide that child’s photo or personal/player details to Little Legends, you must have permission from the child’s parent or legal guardian, or another person with lawful authority, to provide those materials for the purpose of creating the card. By submitting the materials, you confirm that this permission exists and that you have the right to provide them.

A gift purchaser’s permission to provide photos and details for creating the card is not automatically permission for Little Legends to publish or use the child publicly in marketing. Unless the child’s parent or legal guardian has specifically authorised you to grant public marketing permission on their behalf, choose No to public marketing. The parent or guardian can give or update that permission later using the form on this page.

If you want the gift to be a complete surprise and you cannot obtain permission to provide the child’s photo or personal details without spoiling it, do not send the child’s information to Little Legends yet. Contact us and we can arrange a gift option that allows the parent or guardian to provide the photo and details after the gift is given.

Information supplied by someone else

Where Little Legends receives a child’s personal information from someone other than the child or their parent/legal guardian, the purchaser must provide the parent or guardian with the information on this page and tell them that Little Legends has collected the information, why it was collected, who will receive it, and that they can contact Little Legends to access or correct it. Little Legends may also take additional reasonable steps to notify the parent or guardian where required.

Optional public marketing permission

Public marketing permission is completely optional. Saying No does not affect your ability to order, the service you receive, or any eligible promotional price. Where a choice is requested, you must select Yes or No so Little Legends has a clear record of your preference; you are never required to select Yes.

If you select Yes, you confirm that you are the child’s parent/legal guardian or that they have specifically authorised you to grant this public marketing permission. You give Little Legends Cards NZ permission to use the child photo(s) provided and photographs, digital images or video showing the finished personalised card(s) for Little Legends marketing and promotion. This may include the Little Legends website, organic and paid social media, digital and printed advertising, email marketing, portfolio/examples, club or school promotional material, and other Little Legends promotional channels.

Where the finished card is shown, this permission also covers the child’s name, sport, club/team and other information that remains visible on the card. Little Legends may crop, resize or format approved content for those promotional purposes. Permission continues until it is withdrawn.

If you select No, the child’s photo(s) and finished personalised card(s) may be used only to create, proof, fulfil and support the order and must not be used publicly for Little Legends marketing or promotion.

Withdraw or change permission

You can withdraw a previous Yes, or change your recorded preference, at any time. Little Legends will stop new marketing use after receiving the change and will take reasonable steps to remove the content from channels it controls. Withdrawal cannot undo printed material or content already published, distributed or reshared before the withdrawal was received.

Record or change marketing consent

Use this form to give, decline or update public marketing permission for a child’s photos and personalised card. If you have an order number or card name, include it so we can match the consent accurately. If you are only a gift purchaser and have permission to provide photos for creating the card, but do not have specific authority to grant public marketing permission, choose No.

Photo handling

Little Legends does not sell customer photos. If you want an uploaded image removed from our working files after your order is complete, contact us. Some information may still need to be retained where reasonably required for legal, accounting, dispute, security or business-record purposes.
